This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The fusion of traditional Ryokan and modern living is super cool. The spacious and well-equipped rooms with USB plugs and phone cables are jaw-dropping. The cleanliness is on another level, not a spec of dust anywhere. The family suite with Tatami is so nice, and even the smaller room with a bed is not bad at all. The good lighting is a rare find in Japanese Ryokan. The small "Shôwa-Style" arcade street is interesting and gives a glimpse of normal Japan. The staff speaks English very well, so no worries about communication. The fabulous facilities and reasonable price make me want to book this place again when I visit next time. The room was bigger than expected and had everything we needed. The calm and quiet ambience was the cherry on top!

Our stay at Ryokan Hanare was absolutely delightful. The room was impeccably tidy, and the bathroom was spotless. We loved having an Apple TV in the room, which allowed us to sync our phones and enjoy our favorite shows in the evening. The smart phone provided by the hotel was a lifesaver for navigating the city. The staff, particularly a helpful female employee, went above and beyond to assist us with catching an early train to the airport. The attention to detail, comfort, and exceptional service made our stay truly memorable.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

During my recent stay at Ryokan Hanare Tengachaya, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the ample space it offered. The location in a small market made it easy to access from the underground station, and there was even a 24-hour supermarket nearby. The highlight of my stay was the smart TV in the room, which allowed me to watch a variety of channels, including international ones.

The room was clean and nice with a few traditional Japanese touches that made it comfortable. The location was good, very close to a train station and markets where we could buy things. , the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The hotel lacked WiFi and it was difficult to find without it. , it was located on a shopping street which was unexpected and not the typical Ryokan experience we were hoping for.
